Clark Pepper, Publisher

The Shellbrook Chronicle was established in 1912 , the company was later expanded to include The Spiritwood Herald and it has been been a family operation ever since.
The company is now headed by Clark Pepper, great-grandson of the founder.
Over the years, the newspaper has always kept abreast of changes within the industry. The newspaper moved from a paid circulation base to a controlled circulation and has 85% readership for the Chronicle and 88% for the Herald as reported by the Cambase readership study. The change is a welcome service to the reader and assures the advertiser that their message will be given the best coverage across the region.

The Shellbrook Chronicle and The Spiritwood Herald will continue to serve our readers, advertisers and the community-at-large to the utmost of our ability.
