Despite cold and blustery conditions, the 41st annual Parkside Demolition Derby saw the little village’s population increase from 150 to nearly 3,000 on Saturday, July 27, as spectators from near and far filled the stands at the Darrel Martin Memorial Speedway for some car and truck carnage.
